Being safe online is important for everyone. In grades 3-6 we spend time working on a computer safety unit. For all grades we talk about safety all year as they use the internet and explore the world wide web.
We use 2 resources at school for the basis of our computer safety unit:
Common Sense Media, which is a great resource for teachers and parents in all areas regarding media. The second site is one developed by the F.B.I. This site offers information in the form of games as students move around an island learning about different topics.
